Distribution Company Choice

 

  Founded in 2002 by Allan Niblo and James Richardson. It has produced 28 films and distributed a     further 35. The films span a range of genres and audience taste which include the box office smash     hit Street Dance 3D.

Our group has chosen Vertigo Films as our distribution company. Vertigo films are responsible for displaying low budget British movies, along with the company being indie which will support our thriller genre choice. This is also a British company, this is good because it will link in to our opening sequence of using British actors and settings. We have also chosen this distribution company as it includes many local British movies that have been made on low budgets and so has given us inspiration for our own film,

Vertigo films have produced movies such as:

- Football factory
- Street Dance 3D
- Monster
- Horrid Henry The Movie
- The Sweeney
- Bronson
These are low budget British films that are filmed in local locations.

Vertigo also owns a successful post production company in Berlin, The Post Republic and is a partner in sales company Protagonist Pictures along with Film 4 and Ingenious.
