Character Development



Detective Hugh Green:
- Long brown overcoat - Showing how he is hiding the case from the force and deciding to do it on his own.
 - Rough shaven (stubble) - Showing how the case has worn him down over the years.
- Formal shirt, open collar, white
- Smartly dressed - Serious about his job and the case, no time for relaxation.
- Quite muscular
- Intelligent, very aware and alert about his surroundings - Able to figure out who is the murderer later on in the extract.
- Passionate about his job and the case he is working on
- Quite serious
- Bit older than the other detectives, (showing his experience in the force)

Jack Matthews (Dead colleague)
- White shirt, sleeves rolled up - Laid back, relaxed about everything
- Tie
- Stubble - Quite lazy and laid back but good in his job.
- Quite
- Bit of a joker, very playful about his job and cases
- Still quite passionate about his job even if he makes jokes
- Recieves a lot of positive attention for his completion of cases
- Makes a lot of others jealous from what he has
- Persistent and will take any case called for him



Murderer:
- Formal suit,
- long overcoat, mystery
- clean shaven face - More serious about his job than Jack and so is jealous.
- Relaxed about everything
- cunning
- sly
- Trickster ( Very decieving can trick others into doing things for him
- Intelligent
- envy
- quite young
